Chance I'll Take

by Essence Hope   Sep 30, 2007

I look into your eyes and I see a truth inside,
It's something that from me you cannot hide,
You say that you love me with all your heart,
And that you've felt that from the very start.

But darling, don't lie, I know that isn't true,
Even though I've already grown to love you,
You need a time to work out how you feel,
And whether or not this romance is real.

Take your time and just care for me like before,
And maybe I may grow to love you even more,
My heart may break if you don't grow to love me,
But it's a chance I will take, and friends we will still be.

The flow was pretty good, and the rymthes worked.
I think the concept is a well known one, and you wrote it well.

    Keep it up,
    Elaine.

The word worked together quite well, there were a few places I seen that could be worked out. The flow was very good, along with the idea/emotion of it.

    Great job, darling.
    Keep it up.
