I look to my future
To take away my past
Hoping this hard journey
Won't last

In this world
Of critisism and pain
It's hard for a person
to stay so sane.

I want to grow wings
and fly into the sky
to me it's better
Than living a lie.

Are you scared
By the scars on my wrist

Than throwing a fist.

I feel pain on the inside
