Sunny Rays

by OHgreenman   Sep 30, 2007

Walls were built around a fragile heart
The past consumed me deep within
Love was something; that would never return
Like the Earth had lost its spin

Then come along a tenderhearted soul
Who removed heavy shadowy bricks, one by one
Tirelessly working through beautiful words
Showing me warmth of the sun

You've shown me how to love again
Through hours of heartfelt conversations
Dancing in your hazel eyes
My home for many generations

Souls torn apart eon's ago
Reunited with passionate kisses
Knowing that we'll live again
I your Mr. and you my Mrs.

I've come to devour all your tomorrow's
Making the future brighter days
Soul mates from the beginning of time
This green meadow will bask in sunny rays

    Wow...
I love this piece, it is filled with absolutely beautiful descriptions, and it sounds like you put your soul into it. So many touching emotions...
Every stanza is greatly worded, written with so much feelings and thoughts behind, and that can really be felt while reading this piece.
    Keep writing!

You two are a perfect match and I'm so very happy that you've found each other. Much love, happiness and peace to you both.
