Do you remember?

by Rikki   Sep 30, 2007

Do you remember that night so long ago?
We were fighting again, you hadn't come to my show.
But then you said something I'll never forget
You said you cared for her instead, since before we'd even met.

What? You didn't care about me?
No, that wasn't a possibility.
I knew how much you loved me, how much you cared.
But... Why did you say that, how could you have dared?

Maybe you really did care for her.
Maybe you did fall for such a martyr.
But I couldn't take it, you made me feel so low.
And that night, my bitter insanity decided to show.

My beautiful green shirt still has the stain.
It's there to remind me of all of the pain.
I still feel it all, every drop, you know.
Each one falling, so red against the snow.
