Waiting

by Kyle Sacha   Oct 1, 2007

The city lights are becoming dim
And I'm just writing on a whim
Waiting for you
(for you)
The summer sun never seems to go down
And I'm so tired sitting around
Waiting for you
(for you)

And I understand that we've grown apart
And that you don't feel the same
But I wont forget your sparkling eyes
Contagious laugh that made me cry
And I just wanna know
When I lay my head on my pillow
Do you think of me?

I'm sitting here on this swing
Waiting patiently-listening
For you
(for you)
A simple footstep on the ground
Lift my head and I look around
Hoping it's you
(you)

Can't you see I'm hurting
Wanting to be happy again
Guess im not that deserving
But at night when I cry im crying for you

And I realize that you won't come
And that I'm just wishing
But I won't forget your warming touch
The words you said
They meant so much
And I just wanna know
When I cry for you
Do you cry for me too?

Tonight it's cold and it's getting late
And I'm thinking of how much I hate
Waiting for you
(for you)
I hold your memory into mine
And I'm thinking of the time
I was with you
(I miss you)

my first try at lyrics.
