Life's Purpose; Life's End

by HollywoodSmile   Oct 1, 2007

People waste their lives
trying to discover one thing
their purpose, their meaning

when it really doesnt matter
it doesnt matter at all
the meaning of life is simple

our purpose
is simply
to fall

you think that sounds untrue
you think im just a fool
you think your life is worth something

but youre too full of hope to see the truth
there's nothing more to life
than death

your soul is valueless
youre rights; faceless
so stop already

stop trying so hard
it'll all fall apart
as long as you keep trying to rebuild

there is only one thing every human does
and its more simple than you could have thought
there is one purpose for your living

your purpose; your meaning
is all the same
it is your end

most of us breathe, but not all
some die before they breathe
but we all live

and in order to live
we must die
its part of the deal

its an equal exchange
a life for a life
youre givin the chance to live

as long as youre willing to die
this is God's twisted plan
we live to die

some breathe before they die
some die before they breathe
were all givin they same thing

as long as we're willing to die
