Fable of Fate

by Andrew Morton   Oct 1, 2007

The sweet caress
of loves embrace
guilt ridden
of wishful sins

and so it starts;
it falls beneath the surface
to where fate is forgotten
cause its too much to face

can i get a witness
dear preacher, preacher
someone who knows of
what i can teach her

lessons of love
that i once failed
of darker days
when my heart was empailed

fiction ridden love story
the fable of destiny
the hell with fate
just lay here with me

Stunning poem! I read it over about
three times, and simply adore it. So
short, and abrupt, yet still so strong
    and emotive. Really awesome write,
I don't know what else to say! [:
