Love?

by Dan Doyle   Oct 1, 2007

Is there anything so sweet as a lover's kiss?
Or the smile and adoration of a friend?
Perhaps the rainbow, or the sky
Or the acquatinance of a lovely flower

If someone loves, and no one is around
Does that love make a sound?
Will it somehow find its way
Into the heart of that someone?

Should love be a color, or smell
Would it be bright and sweet?
Or would it appear dull
and smell of stale air?

Why must any such thing exist
This curse of love!
If it were not for love
I'd save myself of a few things.
