Godspell

by Michael D Nalley   Oct 1, 2007

Navigators of the net lend me your ears
We can spread the gospel to all hemispheres
Electronic messages are not written in stone
But my how communication has grown

Many airwaves are free down to the wire
We may text message to our hearts desire
Technology has seemingly narrowed the gap
Cell phones and computers now fit in our lap

We may share the truth or share the lies
As the words and images reach our eyes
A place for work and a place to play
It is an excellent place for the meek to pray

The ages do come, and the time goes
Where we are going nobody knows
Time is silent but time well tell
If we are headed for a Godspell

"We may text messages to our hearts desire" -- I would say "We may text message..." [without the 's']. It sounds wrong, otherwise. Either that or change "may" to "send". :]

Once again, a wonderfully written piece. I love your work. :)
