Paper Hearts and Cotton Moons (Rictameter)

Paper Hearts and Cotton Moons

babies
sweet and precious
school years come, you begin
creating very colorful
treasures of paper hearts and cotton moons
put away now cause you've both grown
off on your own, but will
always be my
babies

**Dedicated to my two beautiful precious children, Joseph (23) and Jennifer (21), I Love You!!**

**Thank you Sunshine for the Title**

I know how much your children mean to you, and this poem is so motherly and caring, and shows that time in your life where you accept they are adults and that they may now lead their own life, but they will forever be your babies to love and protect, no matter their age or location.

    Lovely work.

Oh I really don't know how to express the love I felt from this piece, so deep and beautiful, powerful and amazing. Theres nothing more beautiful then a mothers love to their child and you expressed that so much. I'm sure your a wonderful mother because I can feel how much love you have for them. This is amazing. ~Mel
