March Snow (2006)

by ctmskm   Oct 1, 2007

Snow is falling at our surprise,
and everything is hiding under,
the white flakes from the Sky
the very cold of the snow
sends chills down my spine
just like her fingertips do
from time to time.
As we shiver in March,
I see a light breaking the sky,
It rains down on the snow,
Soon this winter will die.
the snow lets us know,
that winter is here,
that the sun is sleeping,
and that spring will soon be near.
But I see a girl who melts the snow
And glues my heart's pieces
She's brought the greatest love,
A Love that never ceases.
She's the girl who makes me smile
Who lets my light shine through
I found out who she is,
and shes mine through and through.
Yes the snowflakes are beautiful,
and how they fill up the sky.
But they don't compare to her,
the angel in my eye.

Aw, this poem kind of reminds me of my ex. Me and her broke up in early March of this year, and it was such a depressing time.

I like how you write, keep up the good work. Now I'll check out one of your dark poems.
