Once to many

by Devon lansdown   Oct 1, 2007

A minute to long you form a conscious sleep
your minds playing tricks your beginning to weep
your heart is beating but your pulse is slow
you were only meant to forget you wasn't meant to go
theres a hand full in your system enough to stop the pain
still you feel the helplessness as you fail to move again
theres no more you can do already too far gone
reaching the dreaded conclusion that u may not have very long
you drift an uneasy tiredness a sudden sense of calm
you thought it wouldn't hurt you it wouldn't do any harm
this wasn't meant to happen you wasn't meant to die
this time was once too many no chance to say goodbye
