A BOX FULL OF NOTHING

by Kaz   Oct 1, 2007

I have a box full of nothing,
I made it when I was little kid,
my mother told me,
told me to throw away my waste,

Rushed my life through every step,
cleaning up after myself,
for all mistakes I made,
my filth leaving behind tracks,
the maze of life I try to figure,

behind the mirror I see a shadow,
an image too dark of myself,
winds with fear, image of terror,
not knowing of my light,
who's the bearer,
dark light, silent song,
no beats, no rhythm within them,

Another victory of my loss,
another slap on my face,
a disgrace too deep to be solved,
no scope of life to see ahead,
living doesn't mean to me,

Again an image forms in my eyes,
my blessed soul, my bloody skies,
cold summer, another sunrise,
hot snow touching my face,
a walk with life, another steep corner,
a box full of nothing,
nothing to keep, nothing to waste....
