Baby

by PeachiKeen   Oct 1, 2007

You have yet to been touched,
You have never felt pain,
You haven't had a warm bath,
You've never seen the rain.

You can hear Mommy's voice,
And sometimes Daddy's too,
You know when I'm happy,
And when I'm feeling blue.

You weigh just one pound,
About six more to go,
Your getting bigger everyday,
Mommy can feel you now, you know.

Your arms are still very tiny,
As well as your legs and ears,
Your little heart is beating,
A sound I love to hear.

You are my darling baby,
I love you very much,
I can't wait until your born,
And I can feel your touch.

Life may get hard,
But I'll always be there,
Just know you can talk to me,
Know that I'll always care.

I promise to be the best mom,
Teach you right from wrong,
Help you learn whats best for you,
And help you to grow strong.

I want so much for you,
And I haven't even met you yet,
Will your eyes be blue or green?
Your hair blond,brown,or red?

Whatever the possibilities,
you will for sure be a gorgeous one,
You will be envied my many,
And have many who love you a ton.

So I'll sit here and wait for you baby,
Only 18 more weeks to go,
You may think you the lucky one,
But I'm more lucky than you know
