Redemption

by Leah20   Oct 2, 2007

Strange light dimmed quick at Heaven's dying
Freedom lost under man's futile dreams
Lost to worlds of darkness laid unreplying
Age of reason; faith is all but unseen
Where will men find solace where no hope's found
What will starving children cling to here
When the screams of the faithless resound
What life can be found in compounding fears
Searching for answers, the dead awake
From the Graveyard comes a victory
Finding hope in the mystery of faith
Illuminated once blind eyes now see
Someday faith, beauty and love will be reclaimed
Someday our innocence will be regained

Flow and rhyme were absolutely perfect. My favourite lines were:

"Someday faith, beauty and love will be reclaimed
Someday our innocence will be regained"

Some really powerful images and a fantabulously strong message.

    5/5
