Those Words

All I ever wanted was that dream come true
a guy who means it when he says I love you

He looks at me with passion and I see tears in his eyes
then he says those three words, and I just want to cry

I can feel the heat, the burning love
that special gift sent from above

Those three little words can mean so much
just like his kiss, or his warm, gentle touch

As the space between us is getting smaller
I stand on my tip-toes, growing taller

Then he leans down, and his lips meet mine
I feel that sensation, and I'm on cloud nine

The moment seems to last forever
