One and the Other

by Kalgalath   Oct 2, 2007

One is caring,
One is not
One is daring,
The other cannot

He is willing,
She is hesitant
He thinks it thrilling,
She says she can't

He finds her striking,
She just finds him, sort of there
She is to his liking,
Yet not fully aware

He likes seeing that other,
She can't say the same
He wishes there wasn't another,
That she always disclaims

He would do whatever,
She wouldn't even worry
He'd make quite the endeavor,
She wouldn't dare hurry

One is heartrending,
One is glistening
One is wishing,
The other not listening
