The Truth

by clare williams   Oct 2, 2007

I'm just too deep for you to handle,
I'm just too dark inside,
Your sunshine sweet, for them to eat,
But the demons scream inside my mind.

Your bauty's so transparent,
I can see straight through the glass,
Your veneer may fool the rest of the world,
But my ghosts see underneath your mask.

Childlike to hide the truth,
They didnt teach you how to love,
Insecure but nobody knows,
They just see little miss tough.

I'll be the one to see underneath,
I can stare straight through Peter Pan,
A shadow of the friend I once knew,
Your characature self belongs in Never Never Land.
