As we stand here in our country,
Free of fear and hunger,
There are many who are hungry,
Many who fear death
Because of malnutrition
From not enough to eat.
If we set aside our differences
And try to help them out,
Many would be spared
From dieing from injustice.
They cannot get their food
Because they cannot work
But many of us think
They are not like us.
But in my opinion truly
I wish I could do it all
To help them now and always.
Those who trip and fall.
Those who look a little different
Are like us just the same
They are just as beautiful
As well as with their talent
I wish those who discriminate
Before they know them well
Would think about their actions
And the consequence as well.
