Speaking Block

by Lilly   Oct 3, 2007

Sit in a corner
don't say a word
thoughts and emotions
will never be heard

A block of the mouth
i can not share a thing
words glued to my tongue
my patience fading

Depth growing shallow
My mouth falling in
Desperate to shine
My mind slowly dying

Can't even whisper
Or write you a line
i remain mute
through infinite time

Silent

Quiet

Can you hear?

Silence

Quietness

Look at my tears?

JUST LISTEN

for once
and you might see
my honest and true
density

I am more
I can be greater
If someone could just notice
TRY
or just even care
TO
i would be better
LISTEN
my life not as bare!
