Giving up is easy,
Not finishing what has already been started,
Leaving things unfinished,
Feeling relived, but guilty

Deciding to leave,
And not come back,
Tracing a path,
That leads to nowhere

Giving up,
Forgetting to live life,
Putting memories away,
Erasing your thoughts

Giving up on life,
Giving up on dreams,
Giving up on love,
Giving up on yourself
