A Circle

Around and around in a circle I go,
Once again (as always) I'm confused,
But as you know, that isnt new.

The butterflies always come back,
Now they're on a full on attack,
But now I'm not sure for whom my heart beats for.

I thought it was for me,
But it wasn't meant to be,
I thought it was for him,
Was I wrong again?
I thought it was for a new person,
But I haven't let him in.

Can my heart beat,
For someone I may never meet?
Will it cease its melodious call,
If I never find true love at all?
