I Dont Want To Be Over You

Her eyes are like emaralds, sparkling with perfection,
like little twilights in the sky, showing such affection.

But not for me, because she loves some other man,
causing me so much pain, and I cant understand.

Why she would shatter my soul, and break my heart,
when all I did was try to love her, and she tore it apart.

So I'll leave and go on with my life like it was before,
before I ever loved her, back when my heart held much more.

Than this pain that I feel, it hurts too much to be true,
to love such a girl, and she will never fall in love with you.

The heart wants what the heart wants, but it feels like lies,
I dont want to be over you, but my soul only says goodbye.
