Moment's Reprieve

by kristian   Oct 4, 2007

Death comes to all those who wait patiently
Yet death has yet come for me
I wait here patiently and yet I am still alive
As I start to get impatient
I watch as others die around me
Yet I am still among the living
Death is what I want
For in death is a momentâ??s reprieve
That momentâ??s reprieve is all I want
But yet it doesnâ??t come
Iâ??m forced to live while others die
Some willingly, others not
My life is a cursed existence
Because death evades my every move
Death will not let me into his doors
Why must I live?
Why can I not die?
For all I wish is death
Because with death comes a momentâ??s reprieve
That is all I want
For that is all I ask
Yet I do not get the death I want
Death does not terrify me
Because it is what I want
Because with Death comes a momentâ??s reprieve
