Believe

by Jason   Oct 4, 2007

If what I told you

I knew you'd never believe

The one way to experience life

Is really down on bended knees

That family is the most important

Second to eating or breathing air

That the result of humbling outcomes

Are really what teach you to care

Wishing on a star night after night

Would not produce the result of instinct in a fight

No matter how much money

Happiness can't be bought for dreams

The one way to clear a conscience

Forgiveness sets us free

That the ones we hold the closest

Will only be there for so long

Attitude causes destruction

That conclusion is forgone

Sand will always crumble

But you can always chase your dreams

What was once thought unattainable?

Is closely within your reach

^^ I love how you have ended this poem because I think it symbolises and gives people a sense of hope. It was beautifully and truthfully written.

    Take Care.
