What kind of World do you Want?

I want a world where people can be who they are.
Where they can feel comfortable with who they were born to be,
And not always have to prove themselves.

I want a world where we don't have to fear stepping out of our homes.
Where we can feel safe wherever we go,
And not always having to take that second glance over our shoulders.

I want a world where people think before they act.
Where they can make a smart risk,
And not make a mistake that could cost a life.

I want a world where people will live up to their full potential.
Where they won't just be satisfied with good,
And really do something worthwhile.

I want a world where people won't give up.
Where people will keep going even when it seems easier to just give up,
And to always look for the good in the bad.

But mostly,
I want a world where someone can do something just because it makes them happy.
Where we can live for today, with no regrets,
And always, always, live like there is no tomorrow.
