No matter how hard you try to make it work
Everything will crash & burn around you
Though all the while you have been holding your breath
Prayin that it wouldnt happen, that it wouldnt come true

In the end however ur left standin there
All alone and lookin at the rubble
Thinking to urself "y did this have to happen"
Secretly wondering if it was worth all the trouble

Deep down apart of u knows that it was
But the relistic view of things takes over
Wishin and hoping wont bring it back
So all thats left is to brush off ur shoulder

To pick urself up and try not to be bitter
Realize that ur not the only one that feels this way
That at some point there has to be a way out
Just keep walkin through that tunel till ur outta the haze
