Lily

by Ridge   Oct 5, 2007

Lily has the cancer and no one really knows
Her father is an alcoholic and he needs to grow
Lily has the cancer ann no one really shows
Her family is a disaster and they need to know

Lily has a sickness and she almost killed herself
Her life is a short story that no one wanted to wrote
Lily has a sickness killing her soft little throat
Her pain sails low and just so hard to hold

But, Lily, Lily
Lily just please don't die.
Lily, Lily,
Lily you've got to try.
Lily, Lily,
Lily don't you die.
Lily, Lily oh.

Lily has a vow to bring her home right back
Her folded face covers the truth on the glass
Lily stay awake because you've got to last
The sweetness in the touch and the anger on the otherside

But i know you're living
I know you're going through so much harm
And i know you're trying
Just so hard

Lily has the cancer and it's time for her to go
Never matter when we know it's going to blow
Lily has the cancer and hope she'll get this song
She's a golden sea lady and a perfect storm for my love

But i know you're living
I know you're going through so much harm
I know know you're trying
Just so hard

I know you're resting
I know this place will give you peace
I know you're trying
Just to save yourself

    This is a song, right?
    Anyway, its good.
    I could relate.
I know of a guy who got in a fight with someone, and after the fight the person he was fighting decided to kick his head. He had an unknown anurism(whatever) and his head basically exploded.
Well, this poem reminded me of that and the entire life-death process.
