Knowing that you still care
after all I have put you through
such a strong love we still share
the kind of devotion I never knew

In my darkest hour you were there for me
saying your prayers to God
asking him to guide me through
my God, how could I have been so blind and not see

The very first time you made your pledge
you would love me until the end
the joy I felt almost drove me to the edge
My dark haired angel whom God had sent

Never has a love been more true
it has a dept and width I never before encountered
In my heart, my love, there will always be...you
