Distance in Silence.

I look back at all the lonely nights
i wonder if it will always be the same
if things will ever get better
if i will ever get rid of this pain.

i think about the years gone by
and the days no different then the last.
my relationships with them so short
why do they all end so fast?

i walk the lonely nights
hoping to recognize her face
looking for the girl who took my heart
and put a hole in its place.

i walk with my head down low
as i try and hide my tears
knowing that ill never find her
even after searching all these years

so i will just pick my head up
and continue to pretend
make believe that I'm happy
all the way till the very end.
