Forbidden Love

by Ashlee Nicole   Oct 6, 2007

The way I feel around her,
It's hard for me to breathe.
The way she makes me feel,
I don't want to leave.

Our skin so close, so hot.
The softness of her lips.
The way she looks at me,
As my hand touchess her hip.

I pull her even closer,
And kiss her as she's mine.
One hand on her face,
As our fingers intertwine.

I take her clothes off slowly,
Kissing gently down her breast.
While looking up at her,
Knowing I am truly blessed.

To have met the one person,
That truly set's me free.
Yet she is not mine,
I fear she will never be.

I get snippets of her,
Here and there.
Behind closed doors,
Where no one else can glare.

There's someone else she loves,
Deep within her heart.
Yet, I know she loves me!
Even when we're apart.

To put yourself in this situation,
Oh what a fool you say.
I can't help it that I love her,
And think of her each day.

One day I'll be with her,
In my future, her I'll find.
For now though I don't care,
This passion makes me blind.

As we lay there afterward,
Hand in hand.
Breathing as one,
This part I can't stand.

Having to leave,
And being all alone.
To bear this burden,
So forbidden, so unknown.

So everyday I sit and wait,
To listen to her voice.
And hope one day she'll tell me,
"I have made my choice."

Overall a good poem. I found that some stock of beginning stanzas were pretty cool and eye-catching and attention gripping. This one is a good poem and shows a good pictures and imagery
