Raining

by x Mo x   Oct 6, 2007

The world sees only what it chooses.
Never has it seen more than it was given.
Look upon the outside, but just stop there.
For underneath the skin, there may be more.
Don't go deeper, don't try to understand.
Let them kill themselves, good riddance.
Tears must fall. Fall into a bloody rain.
Drowning the soul, Cutting off air.
Worry not about their senses,
For they bring it upon themselves to die.
Yet deep inside, cries a child.
Juvenile hearts beat under aged skin.
Still craving that love,
The only antidote for pain caused by hate.
Only wanting to be held, comforted, adored.
Many a child lives inside, and never grows old.
Death arrives too soon for them,
They that are ignored by the arrogant world.
