Note to self

Note to self:
Do not believe,
they're all going to hurt you,
you will be decieved.
Every word they've spoken,
will turn out to be a lie,
they're not worth the pain,
so wipe you're tears dry.

note to self:
rely only on you,
no-one else will help now,
as they've got better things to do.
they dont care for you at all,
even though they pretend they do,
but at the first sign of you're problems,
they'll turn their back on you.

note to self:
be prepared to be hurt,
cause everyone will do it,
they'll hate you and treat you like dirt.
They'll leave you alone,
to stand in the cold,
and come running back,
once their fun gets old.

note to self:
dont show emotion,
dont show that you care,
dont show them you're devotion.
Because emotion=weakness,
and that will only cause you pain,
and you'll only end up losing,
in this never ending game.

note to self:
dont forget to look,
before you make that jump,
there's a chance that you might get hooked.
Analyse everything twice,
as somethings can be hidden,
look between the lines and read the fine print,
before you sign the bottom.
