Blind hope-filled eyes

by NearlyCrazy6   Oct 6, 2007

Hope in life is a wondrous thing
Although for me, its as fake as having wings
It's like nothing in my life goes right
I wish life was as easy as flying a kite

Problem after problem after problem
But nobody seems to know how to solve them
The Lord obviously has a lot of faith in us
Good thing we have lots of trust

All of this stress
Ends up in one big mess
I wish these worries would let me free
So maybe my blind, hope-filled eyes could see

Well, short and sweet wins for me every time. You are able to cram everything you wish to say into such a short space you deserve credit. This is one of the things I struggle with the most - keeping everything compact.

You display beautiful emotion and such vivid images within just a few short lines. Well done.

My only real concern with this piece is the title, it's not the best entitled poem I've ever come across. I would possibly look at changing it to something like ..
    Arduous
    Living Blind
    etc..
    Something a little bolder.

Other than that a very nice poem.

Not a bad poem, to me it wasn't the best of yours but the emotion was still their. I loved the imagery yet again you portrayed in nicely and the message behind it deep and powerful. A good read which I enjoyed.

Overall well done a good poem. ~Mel

    I enjoyed this.

Despite being relatively short, you managed to pack in so much depth and emotion.

The imagery was nicely portrayed, and I thought this was well written with such a deep meaning and insanely great message behind the words.
