Fearing the Night

That face it stares
Looking at you with hope
But theres nothing you can do
And without her you'll soon have to cope

Your stuck in one position
As you struggle to move from that spot
Shes slowly slipping away from you
And away her body will rot

The time wont slow for you
And you watch her liver fail
No one can help you understand
And your body collapses just as you grab the rail

Tears pouring down your face
As you wake from that nightmare
You lost your mother while you were dreaming
At her picture you solemnly stare
