The stars have dimmed.
The sun has gone.
The moon is dark.
All lights are obscure.
Creativity has burned up.
Imagination has faded.
Everything has changed.
Blue skies of freedom
Have been replaced with
Gray clouds of confusion.
I once opened the bottle of love.
But it got wasted.
So I sealed it tight and put
It on the shelf.
My rainbow is dingy.
The tokens of joy I once owned
have been spent.
I have a hole deep inside
That can't be filled.
My simple life as been interrupted.
