Silver Tears

by Rhiannon   Oct 7, 2007

Lava burns through her aching heart
Leaving a deep hole,
Crying, screaming for help
She lies there on her bed.

Weeping for what might have been
Remembering the past,
Looking through old photoâ??s
Burning what she has left.

Gathering her few belongings
Running, stumbling as she falls,
Silver tears run down her cheek
Sitting with nothing left.

A stranger walks by
A coat in his hand,
Picks her up and helps her
He will be her man.

Needing someone with her
Always being her dream,
Singing songs and dancing
Wearing things sheâ??s never seen.

Leading now a good life
The past sheâ??s left behind,
No more silver tears for her
With her husband by her side.
