Looking Back

There are people in this world who
Tear you apart when you feel your best
They bring you down when you're on a high
Always making life one big test

Someone I once loved so much
Changed her ways and so changed mine
Brought me down when she changed her mind
But I refuse to give in
Refuse to give up on what I believe

She was my best friend
The only friend I knew
We shared everything from clothes to secrets
But no point looking back now

She kept me here for so many years
Through all the pain and the tears
She gave me a reaon to carry on
She was the only one
But now she's gona

Someone once told me that I could get through
But now I look back and wonder if it's true
This someone was a friend and teacher
But she can't see what I can
She doesn't know who I am

She burned every belief I had
Tore my world in two
She made me believe in all her lies
Which made me doubt her truth
She made me so angry
And I cried so many tears
She's done so much to hurt me
But no longer will I go unseen
