Cancer And Falling Buildings

by uppercase   Oct 7, 2007

Goodbye enthused eyes; and hello to razors easing into your throat.
Creating facts with fiction, all lies bled were apart of a subtle contradiction.
Blazing my eyes into a sullen state, I wish the fact this time was true.
I've seen better days; this time all I will see is a portion of eye lids.

There won't be anymore dust collecting into my eyes, because that dust created an image.
All it took was a blink and it left your shadow in the shade.
My imagination was fiction on this bookshelf, and my heart was in the other.
This whole time the item being broke wasn't the real deal. Only a replica of what I wish I had.

Be careful not to speak the wrong words; you might just so happen to cough up another scar.
If the exit light was on; I could suggest yander your own way, since we all know the elevator was your first choice.
While I'm breaking my legs down the stairs you're being stuck in between the right decision and the wrong.
Just on my way out of this building that's ready to collapse on the foundation that I saw cracked.

Its another fallen building that has failed to be constructed and I am exiting into the fire exit.
Every door, every hallway only lead into one room; the room with all the explosives.
This is where comic books don't come to life, men with strength to lift up ten tons doesn't appreciate.
Maybe you'll find your way out of this wreck but your cries for help will fall upon deaf ears.

It's not why; but how could such an astounding building go to the ground.
Gravity has its flaws, and this building was only built with half a pound of cement.
I don't know what's soothing to ask, but maybe there's only a simple solution.
Did you know that crying can cure cancer? But it is too bad you don't cry.

Okay. I'm in love with those lines.
    Somewhat raw and emotional.
Lovely how it plays together, isn't it?
    One of my favorites, Steakbutt.
