Writing about Her.

by Lex   Oct 8, 2007

I look at the paper,
nothing is written and the lines are bare.
Quietly thinking of you,
and just how much I care.

I think of all we've gone through,
from the beginning to the end.
Wondering that if I could,
would I do it all again?

Part of me says yes I would,
because it's worth the love I've won.
But I would definitely want to erase,
all the painful things I've done.

Hugging you nice and tight,
always put my mind in bliss.
And if I ever lose you completely,
your kiss I know I'd miss.

And when my mind is clouded,
your friendship can make it clear.
And when I get a chance to make you smile,
my eyes always shed a happy tear.

And that's why I want to stay close,
and always be your friend.
Because I'll always care about you,
and love you until the very end.

But even if we can never be "together" again,
I still want and need you by my side.
As a friend and even a little more,
because you keep me alive.

So for that I must thank you,
as I'd like to take you by the hand.
And tell you you mean so much to me,
as a lover and a friend.
