I Can Feel It In The Air

by Jamin Huchingson   Oct 8, 2007

I can feel it in the air
Like the eyes beating upon you
From a stone cold stare
How is it fair, just to leave me
So hopelessly impaired

It's the brink right before you sink
From a choice you made
You've done the worst, I'm afraid
Stabbed me in the back, then vanished
When you should have stayed

Couldn't deal with the lies you had confessed
My anger could no longer be suppressed
Saying you could see it in my eyes
As if I was possessed
That's when you just up and left

I can feel it in the air
Like the eyes beating upon you
From a stone cold stare
How is it fair, just to leave me
So hopelessly impaired

I was wounded and you just left me to die
No reply, did you think these feelings would just subside
But I figure, you should have just pulled the trigger
The death of me would have been a little quicker
This agonizing pain, I just kill with a little liquor

Such a coward, to run away, than to stay
And fix the mistakes you made
Of a man's heart, that into a million pieces
You broke apart and poisoned by Cupid's dart

I can feel it in the air
Like the eyes beating upon you
From a stone cold stare
How is it fair, just to leave me
So hopelessly impaired
