Where Are You?

by *engaged_angel* @>-0---   Oct 8, 2007

The air is stiff
the world is crying,
terrorism's abundant
people are dying.
everyone's screaming
no-one is laughing,
peer pressure is growing
teenagers are fasting.
parents are separating
police time is wasted,
nobody cares
authorities hated.
drugs are now common
alcohols a favorite,
the homeless need help
how long have they waited.
animals are left
on the streets in despair,
their families left them
they no longer care.
we ask where is God
why is he torturing us all,
but he always replies
"i wont let you fall.
i love you my child
mend your broken wings,
I'm still watching over you
through all these bad things.
i still care about you
just have some faith,
if you trust in me
you'll see heavens gates."
