Sortilege progenies

by mier   Oct 8, 2007

Silhouette of broken fragility,
hides in the silent whisper of the night.
She practies her ancestor's sorcery,
in a celestial absence of the plight.

Living in a sadistic denial,
she can't escape her cursed prophecy.
Absorbing all the twisted shards of fear,
that mask ethreal eyes of sympathy.

Vulnerable in the eyes of mortals,
they discovered her tainted secrecy.
She had nowhere to run, sentenced to death,
accused of worshipping the devilry.

Accepting the punishment bestowed,
with courage shown through her mystical grace.
Quietly embraced by the vestal flame,
slowly devouring her distant face.

An advent of the empyreal dawn,
illuminate the cremated debris.
The beautiful stranger was ever gone,
a warning for sortilege progenies.

Wow... this is amazing, truly breathtaking. I can't express how much this piece touched me. It is not ordinary sad poem, it is original, deep piece painted with such intense sorrow. You did great job with rhymes, too.
