Another Lie

Just stopped raining;
It is cold;
As I'm sitting here thinking--
About the story that should be untold.

I'm over you now;
I no longer think about you.
But my heart is still asking how--
How you could break my heart in two.

My only remedy--
Are these two sticks of cigarette.
You let me go && I wasn't ready;
Gotta move on && I musn't regret.

I know you are now happy--
You don't think about me anymore.
Tell me you still love me;
But no more I love you's-- no more.

I don't know why this life is being so rough;
I declared another lie:
Moving on && forgetting you is really tough--
No matter how hard I would try.

Everything between us should be forgotten;
You left me shattered in two;
Our love has become so rotten;
&& just like what you did-- I must move on too.

Holding on became my enemy;
&& letting go gave me an everlasting curse.
Because no matter how badly you hurt me--
Letting go hurts even worse.
