Will We Make It?

Are we dreaming out life all away?
Is it life that we live each dark day?
They tell all of us we have to pay
Pay to have life.

Is this right?

Is it right to live with this fear
Of losing all you keep near?

Will we really ever know what's true?
Will you ever know what to do?
They take away from us all we knew
Of our true love.

They tell everyone how to live:
Taking more than we can give.
Everyone is lost here,
Lost to all this greed.

Sometimes I think we could get out of here,
But then my hopes are attacked by fear.
They're holding us back year after year.
They won't let go.

Maybe everyone should give up,
