To lose one's talent is horrible
To lose one's life is painful
As I am right now
I'm losing whatever talent I had
Therefore I'm losing my life
But all at once I'm gaining life
I might not keep my talent
I'm in love and yet I'm losing love
If a person dedicates their life to one thing
And then changes in a matter of a couple of months
One feels an emptiness
They start to second guess themselves
They wonder why was it that that made their life so complete before
And now all of that is gone and replaced with something that makes you feel the same
If not more happy than before
Have I lived this life for nothing
Or have I lived this life all blind
I haven't the slightest clue
But yet I feel great
Because I have finally found what you're heart has been looking for
Looking in vain all these years
And just at what seems to be the right moment
She comes to me like a beautiful dream long forgotten
I touch her check and you know it was all worth it
I realize that this soft feather of yours has been there all along
I had to just realize it
And what I use to know now fades into the dark
And all I think now is the fact that it was all worth it
To lose one love for another.
