Amongst the wind

by Midnight suicide   Oct 9, 2007

Among st the wind I hear your voice
I turn around with no other choice
My first excited though went up in smoke
When there was nothing there nothing spoke
Just the rustle of leaves and the swaying grass
So I turned around and when ton wit my path
And when I herd it again I turned even faster
Nothing was their but an old fence and beat up pasture
I started walking quicker not knowing where it came from
Im just hearing things gosh Im dumb
Finally I make it to my secret spot
Where I sit watched and thought
Where there it happened before my eyes
Across the pond I saw someone go by
I got up and ran to see who was there
Nothing. Just my own blank stare
I knew I seen someone I was starting to get mad
I yelled and yelled but only got an echo back
So I went back to sitting but it wasnwasn'the same
Someones making me go truly insane
I didnt like it so I got up to leave
When u came out of nowhere and begged me please
To sty a little longer and watch the outdoors
It got to the point where I couldnt stay more
I had to go home and we went are separate ways
Little did I know I wouldnt see another day
I kept coming back and waiting to see your pretty face
But every time I got the same empty space
I finally gave up and just stopped going
I forgot about it period. To much time I was blowing
I didnt go back for another 4 years
Not much had changed. I seen only one deer
When all of the sudden I herd that pretty sound
The one you cant forget no matter when youre out of town
I went to the place where we first met
And their you were already set
I knew at that moment it was meant to be
So I ask the big question. Would you marry me
She looked for a moment and wit a smile said yes
And thats where our house was built on special request
We werent going move not now not ever
And thats where we were to be buried forever and ever.
