X~x Life after Death x~X

I wonder what happens
once we are dead.
Its a touchy subject
that most people dread.

I once was like that
but Ive changed a lot.
Now Ill welcome death
it scares me not.

There has to be something
far better then this.
It cant be as bad
no matter what it is.

Ill get my answer
sooner or later.
And maybe for once
Ill see a little straighter.
