You ask me why I'm crying,
When you know the answer's you.
You're everything I've ever wanted,
My living dream come true.

You can make me laugh in a heartbeat,
And make me smile with a kiss.
Your shoulders are fit for me,
Just knowing you is bliss.

The look in your eyes when I kiss you,
Is the look that I've dreamt of.
You hold me like you might break me,
So gentle, and full of love.

The little things you say and do,
Are all that's in my head.
I think of you all day long,
And dream of you in bed.

But now my cheeks are stained,
From all the million cries.
Because you told me we can't be,
The day you said goodbye.
