The Shopping Mall

by HarlequinMasked   Oct 9, 2007

Collapsed down in a shopping mall
You picked me up to watch me fall
Broken hearts, suicide pass
You and me could never last

Different people, different times
Our time is up, the bell has chimed
I ran after you in the shopping mall
Age doesnt matter to me at all

Love is love, and lust is lust
Tears Ive cried, water to dust
I followed you in hot pursuit
Calling your name, my voice a mute

I lost you there in that shopping mall
But this isnt real from stall to stall
For this shopping mall is only my heart
I want to find you, but where to start?

Very good job. I like the last stanza a lot. This was easy to relate to and had good flow and rhyme. The second line of your poem was very very good. I look forward to more of your work.
